Image Since the 1990s, WOLA has worked to promote development and human rights, strengthen democratic processes, and change U.S. counternarcotics policies towards Mexico. In recent years, WOLA’s has also supported efforts to bring justice to the families’ of the murdered women and girls in Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua. WOLA has a long-standing relationship with human rights and civil society organizations in Mexico, accompanying their work on democratic reform and fundamental human rights issues for over a decade.
