The data and statistics of violence in Honduras are shocking, every three and a half hours a Honduran is murdered, ranking Honduras as one of the three most violent countries in Central America. Honduras’ rate of 42 homicides per 100,000 easily surpasses the estimations made by the Pan American Health Organization for the region of 18 homicides per 100,000.
