A Briefing Packet on what is now the Dominican Republic-Central American Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA). This educational packet was created by a group of non-governmental organizations in late 2003 when the agreemnt was still under negotiation. The agreement is referred to throughout the packet as "CAFTA", as the Dominican Republic did not join negotiations until early 2004.

In May 2005, when Congress was preparing to ratify the Dominican Republic-Central American Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA), WOLA authored a brief on the potential effects of the agreement on the region. Because of the anticipated negative implications for the rural sector, labor rights and intellectual property right in the region, WOLA urged Congress to vote against DR-CAFTA.
