Letter to the President Urging the Removal of Remaining Bush-enacted Travel Restrictions to Cuba

WOLA along with other academic, religious, trade and policy organizations, sent a letter to President Obama urging him to use his regulatory authority to repeal the remaining restrictions put into place in 2003 and 2004 by then-president Bush in regards to academic travel and person-to-person exchanges between Cuba and the United States.

On August 9, 2010, WOLA along with other academic, religious, trade and policy organizations, sent a letter to President Obama urging him to use his regulatory authority to repeal the remaining restrictions put into place in 2003 and 2004 by then-president Bush in regards to academic travel and person-to-person exchanges between Cuba and the United States. The letter also recommends that the President support Congressional efforts to open up travel and agricultural product sales between Cuba and the United States.
