The Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) is pleased to invite you to a small reception during this year’s Latin American Studies Association (LASA) conference in Puerto Rico. Please join us for refreshments and conversation at thePiña Colada Club at the Caribe Hilton on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m. We invite you to share this invitation with other colleagues and friends of WOLA that will be attending the LASA conference.
In attendance will be Executive Director Joy Olson, Program Director Geoff Thale, and other members of WOLA’s staff. We’re using this as an opportunity to share with you some of WOLA’s most recent initiatives—including WOLA University, a social media initiative to get university students more engaged with both WOLA’s work as well as human rights leaders in the region.
