Venezuela: Post-Election Analysis

Join experts from the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) for a discussion and Q&A on the Venezuelan legislative elections and the potential scenerios moving forward.

Experts:

  • David Smilde is a WOLA Senior Fellow and Tulane University professor. Smilde, who curates the Venezuelan Politics and Human Rights blog, is a leading voice providing independent, reality-based analysis on Venezuela and is on the ground for the elections.
     
  • John Walsh, WOLA Senior Associate, is an expert on U.S. policy toward the Andes.
     
  • Joy Olson is WOLA's Executive Director.
