Washington, D.C. – As part of our efforts to promote democracy, the rule of law and respect for civil and political rights in the 2023 electoral process, the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA), Human Rights Watch (HRW) and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights (RFKHR) will be in Guatemala City from April 17 through April 21.
The delegation will meet with civil society, public officials, independent press, diplomatic corps and the United Nations to gather information and discuss the main issues and challenges with regards to the upcoming elections.
