Ambulante Film Festival Border Series

WOLA cordially invites you to Ambulante Film Festival’s Border Series in Tijuana and San Diego. Actor Diego Luna and Joy Olson, WOLA’s executive director, will hold a panel discussion on how the illegal flow of arms from the United States across the border is fueling violence in Mexico.

Please join us on September 6th and 7th for the screening of Gun Fight directed by Barbra Kopple, a film about gun ownership in the United States. The panel discussion will follow after the screening.

In Tijuana the screening will be held on September 6th at 4:00pm at the Centro Cultural Tijuana, Paseo de Los Heroes 9350, Zona Río, 22010. The panel will start at 5:30pm.

In San Diego the screening will be held on September 7th at 4:00pm at the Institute of the Americas of the University of California: San Diego, 10111 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla 92037. The panel will start at 5:30pm

WOLA is excited for this opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue regarding the gun debate in the United States and Mexico, and encourages all who are interested to attend the event.  The presentations are free and open to the public.
