Indigenous Colombians speak out against Free Trade with the U.S.

The National Indigenous Organization of Colombia (ONIC), which has been working for 25 years to protect the rights of indigenous groups, speaks out against the proposed free trade agreement with the U.S. In this letter, WOLA and other NGOs bring ONIC's work to the attention of the U.S. Congress, pointing out that trade-related development projects could cause further marginalization of and discrimination against indigenous groups.
