Fidel leads a forensic team tasked with exhuming the remains of people who “disappeared” some 25 years earlier during the years of political violence in Peru. From a recent discovery of nine bodies, one is unidentifiable, the only clue to his past life a photo of a woman found pinned to his body. A lonely widow is convinced it is her late husband, but the data just don’t add up. The mystery deepens as the stresses of the job bear down on the conflicted Fidel. NN won the award for Best Director at the 2015 Cartagena Film Festival.
