WOLA’s Assistant Director for Venezuela, Geoff Ramsey, spent the month of April there, and in parts of Colombia and Brazil near the Venezuelan border where tens of thousands of forced migrants from Venezuela have been arriving. WOLA’s Director for the Andes, Gimena Sánchez, met up with Ramsey in the Colombian border city of Cúcuta. They discuss the ongoing humanitarian crisis, what governments and agencies are doing about it, and what needs to happen now.
