Join us for a conversation with Juliette de Rivero, representative of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR) in Colombia, to discuss their latest annual report. WOLA’s Gimena Sánchez-Garzoli and the Atlantic Council’s Geoff Ramsey will guide a conversation on the UN’s assessment of the human rights situation with a focus on regional violence, peace and security policies, and social leaders. Ms. De Rivero will share their recommendations for how to address obstacles that remain.

The UN report, “Situation of human rights in Colombia – Report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights,” is available online here.

In-person attendance is encouraged, but a virtual link will also be enabled. This event will be conducted in English.
