Members of Congress Write a Letter to Obama on Global Hunger and Food Security

116 Members of Congress wrote a bipartisan letter to President-Elect Barack Obama asking that he initiate a White House-based and -led government-wide comprehensive strategy to address international hunger and food security issues. The members of congress urge President-Elect Obama to take up this effort in order to ensure that US executive departments and agencies develop an integrated government-wide strategy that will contribute in the international effort to halve hunger by 2015.
