Alexandra Konicki

Alexandra Konicki is the Assistant Director for Philanthropy on the Development team at the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA). Here, she helps foster relationships with WOLA’s growing community of individual supporters. Alexandra also works with the Partners’ Council and WOLA experts to keep donors engaged and identify new fundraising opportunities. Lastly, Alexandra manages WOLA’s annual benefit gala, maximizing partnerships and impact to celebrate defenders of human rights in Latin America.

Before joining WOLA, Alexandra served as the Grants Administrator for the Foundations and Program Liaison Office at Human Rights Watch (HRW), where she managed over 150 grants across all programmatic divisions. Prior to joining HRW, she was the Development Coordinator at the Ohio Hispanic Coalition and led fundraising initiatives for their youth and education and health programs. Alexandra holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies and International Relations and Diplomacy from The Ohio State University, where she also minored in Spanish and Human Rights.
