Felipe Puerta Cuartas is the Digital Editor at WOLA, where he supports the Communications team by maintaining WOLA’s website and social media pages, and creating English and Spanish digital content.
Before joining WOLA, Felipe worked for six years as Research Director and Spanish Editor at InSight Crime, focusing on the research of the corrupt links between elites and organized crime in Central America, conflict, and other illegal economies throughout Latin America. He has also worked as a research consultant for The Global Initiative Against Organized Crime and other organizations working on due diligence.
Felipe has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the EAFIT University in Medellín, Colombia, and is undergoing an M.A. in Economics and Law of Climate Change in FLACSO, in Buenos Aires Argentina.
