Gina Hinojosa supports WOLA’s Mexico program. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied international relations and Latin American studies. Before joining WOLA, Gina worked with the Mexico Institute at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, where she supported research and programming focused on human rights and security issues in Mexico.
Prior to that, Gina studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán in Merida, Mexico. She has also interned for a number of Texas nonprofits and research centers, including the Center for Health and Social Policy, Texas Civil Rights Project, and Workers Defense Project, where she advocated for low-wage immigrant workers’ rights.
