Melissa Golladay

Melissa Golladay is WOLA’s Vice President for Finance and Operations and oversees all aspects of WOLA’s operations, including finance and human resources. She has over 15 years of professional experience working in Latin America with community-based and volunteer organizations. 

Before joining WOLA, Melissa served as Vice President for Education and Global Citizenship at Partners of the Americas. Ms. Golladay led programs that connected volunteers, students, youth, and professionals across borders to collaborate on issues such as workforce development, community-led development, climate change, entrepreneurship, and government transparency. She previously served as Director for Professional Leadership Exchanges and Youth Engagement as well as Program Officer with the Center for Civil Society. She currently serves as the Chair of the Building Bridges Coalition, a coalition of corporations, volunteer-serving organizations, and higher education institutions, working to increase the number of international service opportunities around the globe. She earned a M.A. in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, concentrating in Social Development and a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
