Moses Ngong

Moses Ngong is the Program Assistant to the Mexico Program at the Washington Office on Latin America, where he investigates policy issues, does congressional outreach, and provides general support for the work of the Mexico team. He graduated from Centre college with a B.A. in Spanish and Environmental studies.

Prior to joining WOLA, Moses served as an Environmental Education Volunteer with Peace Corps Mexico. There, he researched community infrastructure issues, facilitated a USAID Small Project Assistance grant, worked with counterparts in the Mexican government, and taught across all grade levels.

Moses is passionate about community service, and served twice as an Americorps volunteer. In his hometown of Louisville, KY, he worked with Latinx migrant communities as a youth liaison and tutor at the Backside Learning Center. As a Bonner Scholar in college, Moses was a tutor to ESL youth and volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass.
