Letter to Secretary of State Clinton from Rep. Jim McGovern on Honduran Coup

Representative James P. McGovern (D-MA) sent the following letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton today regarding the recent coup in Honduras. McGovern a long-time advocate for human rights in Latin America applauded the Administration's principle stand against the coup in Honduras and urged the Administration to call for an immediate reinsertion of Zelaya, a suspension of U.S. assistance to the country and to urge the coup government to respect civil liberties of all citizens and residents of Honduras.
