WOLA: Advocacy for Human Rights in the Americas
Program Theme

The Colombian Peace Process

After nearly 50 years of conflict, the Colombian government has entered into peace talks with the country’s largest guerrilla group, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). As negotiations continue in Havana, Cuba, WOLA works to support the realization of an inclusive and lasting peace by advocating for the rights of marginalized populations and shifting U.S. policies to promote peace, rather than build up warfighting capabilities.
