WOLA: Advocacy for Human Rights in the Americas
Program Theme

The Colombian Peace Process

After nearly 50 years of conflict, the Colombian government has signed a historic peace agreement with the country’s largest guerrilla group, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). As the peace process is implemented, WOLA works to support the realization of an inclusive and lasting peace by advocating for the rights of marginalized populations, accountability for atrocities, and shifting U.S. policies to promote peace, rather than build up military capabilities.
