WOLA condemns the assassination of Radio Progreso employee in Honduras

Washington, D.C.—The Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) condemns the assassination of Radio Progreso Marketing Manager, Carlos Mejía Orellana, that occurred on Friday, April 11. WOLA extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Mejía, and urges the Honduran authorities to conduct a prompt, thorough, and impartial investigation and to punish those responsible.
