WOLA’s Drug Policy Events March 2024

WOLA is taking part in a diverse set of panel discussions on drug policy coinciding with the 67th session of the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs taking place in Vienna, Austria from March 14 to 22, 2024. Most of the events (but not all) are open to all online. And recordings will be made available afterwards. Please check details below for each individual event.

Join WOLA’s Director for Drug Policy and the Andes, John Walsh, for a discussion on the rise of illicitly manufactured synthetic drugs, such as fentanyl, fueling a devastating overdose crisis in North America and highlighting the importance of harm reduction responses and eliminating the stigmatization of people who use drugs. This is a hybrid U.N. Commission on Narcotic Drugs side event in English.
