 Despite the signing of the Barbados Agreements on Electoral Conditions last year, the Maduro government has increased  repression against the opposition and perceived opposition, further complicating the interaction with other governments in the region and in Europe. Despite setbacks, arbitrary detentions, illegal bans and other forms of persecution, Venezuelans have remained committed to participating in elections at a moment of low popularity for Nicolás Maduro. What is likely to happen now? What are the different scenarios facing the opposition? These are some of the questions that this conversation will address.
