Carolyn Scorpio

Carolyn Scorpio is a Program Assistant at WOLA, where she provides research and advocacy support for the Citizen Security, Migration and Border Security, and Defense Oversight programs.

Prior to joining WOLA, Ms. Scorpio worked in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala with Pencils of Promise (PoP), an international non-profit working to increase access to quality education worldwide. Ms. Scorpio graduated from American University with a degree in International Studies and Spanish/Latin American Studies. As an undergraduate, she spent one semester studying abroad in Santiago, Chile and one semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
