El País interview with Carolina Jiménez Sandoval on the state of democracy in the Americas

In a lengthy interview with Spanish newspaper El País, WOLA President, Carolina Jiménez Sandoval takes a look at the state of democracy in Latin America. She highlights its many challenges in countries such as Venezuela, El Salvador or Guatemala. But she is also encouraged by the region’s feminist movement, as well as young people’s commitment to change.
